Gregory Todd, aka The Minista, is a dedicated husband and father of five beautiful children. He currently resides in Atlanta, GA and has ministered and performed before thousands of people during his career as a Christian artist. But lingering directly behind this ministering artist are quite a few emotional shadows, which are a direct result of a 12 year struggle with several addictions. In 1985 at the age of 15, he dropped out of high school and almost immediately became addicted to alcohol. Soon after he was introduced to marijuana and in the course of a 12 year period, he had acquired a 500.00 a day drug habit which consisted of Ice, Ecstasy, Heroin, Acid, Powder, and Crack Cocaine. In a desperate effort to support his overwhelming addictions he started stealing from his immediate family and friends, but it wasn't enough. Eventually, he found himself breaking into houses, stores, and restaurants throughout his own neighborhood. At one point he was even robbing some of the drug dealers within the area. In the end, Gregory had been locked up a total of 41 times, almost over-dosed on 4 separate occasions, and, amazingly, is a survivor of three separate failed suicide attempts. The unfortunate choices that he had made throughout the course of his early life had literally cost him everything, including his will to live. However, in August of 2002 on a beautiful Friday afternoon as he was on his way to the crack house, a supernatural experience with Jesus Christ changed his entire life immediately.
